Biography of Alexander Kokorin

Alexander Kokorin was born in the town of Valuiki, Belgorod region, not far from Ukraine, in the family of Christian believers Svetlana and Alexander Kokorin.

At the age of 7, Sasha enrolled in the boxing section and at the same time in the football section. Just a familiar boxing coach lived not far from Sasha's house. The boy looked like boxing for only 4 months, but he realized that he liked football more. And he took up football. And Sasha loved to play with the ball since childhood, constantly chasing the ball around the yard.

Sasha was lucky: the coach in Valuyki was at the same time a breeder at the Spartak Moscow football school (he selected talented players), where Kokorin was selected. But in the capital, Sasha had nowhere to live (the club could not provide housing), besides, the boy did not like how he was treated here, and he, upset, left home. And after a while, an option turned up: he was invited to the Lokomotiv sports school and assigned to a boarding school at the club.

So, a 10-year-old fan of Alexander Arshavin and Roman Pavlyuchenko was left alone in the huge capital. Here he studied for six years. Parents were able to visit their son only once every three months. The boy organized his life himself: he washed clothes, cooked food, and for a tiny scholarship he could treat himself to a burger at McDonald's.

Kokorin and Dynamo

Before the start of the 2008 season, 17-year-old Kokorin signed a three-year contract with the Dynamo capital club and became the youngest player to score a goal in the Russian Premier League. It happened in the match "Dynamo" (Moscow) - "Saturn" (Moscow region).

Alexander Kokorin admitted that he grandiosely celebrated the goal that he scored against his former club Lokomotiv. Then the Dynamo team defeated Lokomotiv with a score of 1:0.

After three rather productive years, in 2011 Alexander Kokorin extended the contract for another 3.5 years with the Dynamo club.
At this time, he showed himself so well that he was called up to the national team.

And in July 2013, Kokorin went to the Anji club (Makhachkala), and the compensation amounted to 19 million euros. However, he had to go abroad to treat an old injury, and at that time the team was restructured and several star players had to be put up for sale. Yuri Zhirkov, Igor Denisov and Alexander Kokorin were transferred to Dynamo. This happened already in August 2013. So Kokorin did not have to play for the Anji club in Makhachkala.

When Alexander played for Dynamo, he had excellent relations with the police, he had acquaintances who helped restore his rights and make numbers.

In January 2016, Alexander Kokorin and his Dynamo clubmate Yuri Zhirkov were bought by the St. Petersburg club Zenit. As part of this team, Alexander played several productive matches.

To the fact that journalists fanned the scandal around this photo, Kokorin said:

“We flew to America to rest, and people, apparently, got bored without us. They decided to inflate this scandal. But there are people who believe that Pasha and I are gay.”

In 2016, the media were full of reports that Kokorin and Mamaev "celebrated" the departure of the Russian team from the European Championships in the expensive Twiga nightclub in Monte Carlo. For such behavior, Alexander was punished by being transferred to the reserve team: Zenit-2.

The following year, the football player was deprived of his driver's license for driving in the oncoming lane.

In early October 2018, Alexander Kokorin, again, together with Pavel Mamaev and his brother Kirill, started a fight in a cafe in the capital, the victim of which was an official of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia Denis Pak and the general director of the SSC RF FSUE "NAMI" Sergey Gaisin.
