The most important football unit is the football club. Every football club has some distinguishing features. For example, uniform and its color, emblem, team name. This is just an incomplete list. Different countries have their own peculiarities in the title of football clubs. The need for a team name arises at the time of its creation. Many clubs use the name of their city in the title. For example, organizations or professional activities (CSKA, Miner, Metalist). Many names are associated with the history of the formation of the team. There is no definite principle in the names. Therefore, it all comes down to the imagination of the one or those who come up with this very name. What is important is not how to name a football team, but how it will play. As the saying goes, "as you call a ship, so it will sail." The name of a football team should contain a hidden meaning, a charge of energy, strength and courage. Perhaps that is why we hear such names as “Torpedo”, “Dynamo”, “Spartak”.

So, in Russia and in many Eastern European countries, teams have clear signs of belonging to one or another state structure.
